Shares of RingCentral Inc. RNG rose more than 7% in the extended session Tuesday after the maker of cloud-base communications services posted a narrower quarterly loss and adjusted EPS above Wall Street expectations, raising its revenue and operating margin outlook for the year as well. RingCentral lost $54.4 million, or 57 cents a share, compared with a loss of $151 million, or $1.60 a share in the year-ago period. Adjusted for one-time items, the company earned 76 cents a share. Revenue rose 14% to $534 million, including an increase of 16% for subscriptions revenue, the company said. Analysts polled by FactSet expected RingCentral to report adjusted earnings of 69 cents a share on sales of $528 million.
