: Dow up by more than 300 points in final hour of trading

Dow industrials remained higher on Monday, up by 320 points or 1%, heading into the final hour of trading. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 was up by almost 0.3%, as investors continued to weigh the impact of a surprise oil-production cut announced over the weekend by Saudi Arabia and its allies. Dow industrials appeared poised to add to gains seen in March and the first quarter, while the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.6%.
