: Canadian cannabis company changes name to Bazam from Green Organic Dutchman

Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd CA:TGOD.WTA said Wednesday it’s changing its name to Bzam Ltd. for trading on the Canadian Stock Exchange under the symbol BZAM and the symbol BZAMF on the OTCQX. Forbes List billionaire Bassam Alghanim was named chairman of Bzam after serving as a director of Green Organic Dutchman. Alghanim is a co-owner of Kuwait-based Alghanim Industries and has been an investor, businessman and banker for more than 40 years. Shares of Green Organic Dutchman are up 8.4% in 2023 and down 62.9% from a year ago. The AXS Cannabis ETF THCX is up 6.6% in 2023 and down 61.7% in the past year.
