Fed tends to look past hurricanes, although that is getting harder

The two devastating hurricanes that hit the southeastern U.S. in recent weeks will make it harder for the Federal Reserve to assess the health of the economy, analysts say, but the central bank is still expected to go forward with a quarter-point rate cut when it meets early next month.
