Williams-Sonoma’s stock heads for record after profit crushes estimates

Williams-Sonoma Inc.’s stock WSM rose 8% early Wednesday and was headed for a fresh record, after the upscale home goods retailer crushed profit estimates for the first quarter while revenue also came in ahead of consensus.
