Apple Inc. AAPL is planning to add 53 new, relocated or remodeled stores in Asia, North America and Europe in the next four years, Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the company’s deliberations. Through 2027, the iPhone maker is mulling opening 15 new stores in the Asia-Pacific region, five in Europe and the Middle East and four in the U.S. and Canada, the news company reported. It’s also aiming for six revamped or relocated stores in Asia, nine in Europe and 13 in North America. The aim of the store expansion is to build the brand in growth markets such as India, while improving the experience for shoppers in the U.S and Europe. The stock has gained 39% in the year to date, while the S&P 500 SPX has gained 10%.
