: United Airlines international bookings increase by 15% over year-ago, stock climbs in premarket

United Airlines Holdings Inc. UAL said Thursday that international bookings are up 15% in March from year-ago. The carrier said it has expanded its international flying by 25% from 2022 to meet increased demand for travel outside of the U.S. “The airline is already the largest carrier across both the Atlantic and Pacific and this summer’s schedule includes nearly 25 new routes,” the carrier said. United Airlines stock is up 1.4% in premarket trades. The stock has gained 11.5% in 2023, compared to a 6.5% increase by the S&P 500 SPX.
