: Meta’s stock heads for longest losing streak in nearly four years

Shares of Meta Platforms Inc. META are off 1.3% in afternoon trading Tuesday and on track to fall for the seventh straight session. That would mark the stock’s longest losing streak since a seven-session stretch that ended May 14, 2019, according to Dow Jones Market Data. The declines come as Meta shares have rocketed 73% so far this year and as the company prepares to report first-quarter earnings after Wednesday’s closing bell. Investors may get a hint of what to expect in the digital-ad market as Google-parent Alphabet Inc. GOOGGOOGL is due to post its own first-quarter results after the close of Tuesday’s trading.
