Economic Report: Coming up: ISM factory index for May

The closely-followed Institute for Supply Management’s Manufacturing PMI, which tracks the health of the factory sector, is expected to slip to 54.5% in May from 58.5% in the prior month, according to a survey of economists by the Wall Street Journal.  This would be the sixth decline in the past seven months. The ISM data will be released at 10 a.m. Eastern.
