Berkshire Hathaway vice chairman Charlie Munger had some advice for a young attendee at Berkshire’s annual meeting on Saturday. “When you have your own retirement account, and your friendly adviser suggests you blow money into bitcoin, just say no,” said Munger. Fidelity Investments announced April 26 that it will allow investors to add a bitcoin account to their 401(k)s. Billionaire entrepreneur Peter Thiel remarked at the Bitcoin 2022 conference in Miami earlier this month that Warren Buffett, the 91-year-old chief executive officer of Berkshire , is a top “enemy” of bitcoin and part of a “finance gerontocracy” holding back the cryptocurrency’s adoption.
