A six-day losing streak would be the longest since the six-day streak that ended Feb. 28, 2020. The Dow transports have plunged 13.3% over the past six sessions, the worst six-day performance plummeted 15.6% during the six-day stretch that ended March 23, 2020. In comparison, the Dow Jones Industrial Average , which slumped 231 points, or 0.7%, on Tuesday, has slipped just 2.5% over the past six days. Within the Dow transports, all 20 components are losing ground. The biggest drag on the index was Avis Budget Group Inc.’s stock , which tumbled $37.20, or 13.4%, to shave about 227 points off the index’s price.
