The Democratic-run House Energy and Commerce Committee’s subcommittee on oversight and investigations plans to have executives from major oil companies testify April 6 at a hearing titled “Gouged at the Gas Station: Big Oil and America’s Pain at the Pump.” The subcommittee said in a news release on Tuesday that the execs slated to testify include Chevron CEO Michael Wirth, ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods, Devon Energy CEO Richard Muncrief and Pioneer Natural Resources CEO Scott Sheffield, as well as BP America’s president, David Lawler, and Shell USA’s president, Gretchen Watkins.
