Delta suspends codeshare with Russian flag carrier Aeroflot

Delta Air Lines says it has withdrawn its codeshare agreement with PJSC Aeroflot , Russia’s flag carrier and the largest passenger airline in the Russian Federation, amid the ongoing invasion by Russia of neighboring Ukraine. The impact, according to a post on the company-operated Delta News Hub, is that Delta’s code has been removed from Aeroflot-operated services beyond Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow and Aeroflot’s code has been removed from Delta-operated flights departing Los Angeles and John F. Kennedy Airport in New York. The Atlanta-headquartered passenger carrier does not operate services to Ukraine or Russia.
